Michael Greene, Interior Designer

Michael Greene

Don’t be surprised if the name Michael Greene sounds familiar. Michael’s work has been featured on New England Cable News Network’s Dream House three times, he has decorated many of the homes seen during the famous “Christmas House Tour” of South Boston, he has done set design for a local Boston talk show, and most recently participated in the incredible transformation of the 2016 Junior League of Boston Show House.

Michael began his design career working with The Fabric Place in Framingham, a company known for their superior custom work. After the long time owners retired, Michael joined the Babel’s design team. Whether a home, office, restaurant, or yacht, Michael has been masterfully surpassing his client’s expectations for over twenty-four years.

Advice for Homeowners

Where to save money: Hire a designer, they can often help you repurpose existing pieces in ways that you may not have thought of.

Where to spend money: Spend on your finishings like trim on pillows or drapes and hardware on your cabinetry. These subtle touches make a room look very elegant and can pull together the entire design.

Tip for homeowners: Don’t worry about resale value. Decorate your home as you want to live in it, not as you think someone else would like to.
